Hey everyone! I know there’s all of, what, 8 of you across three platforms (Website, Patreon, and Facebook), but that’ll just mean this is a cozier updating. Where each of you gets front row seats to watch me blunder about in the dark, rather than from the large screen the venue has on display. It’s more personal, isn’t it?
But yeah, I’m going to start doing my best to start giving monthly updates, either on the first or last day of the month. Even if there isn’t a whole lot of progress one way or another, at least it’ll be signs of life. I’m figuring this out as I go, cause I really don’t have any idea of how to do this side of being an author at all. Case in point, I forgot to include any of my information in Gene Harvest, like the fact that I have a website.
Anywho, I’m reaching the end of book 2, maybe a weekish away from finishing the first draft! It’s already just a hair under the length of Gene Harvest at publication, and during developmental edits, I tend to justify the use of even more words… somehow. I mean, considering book 2, I’m eyeing close to half a million published words, and that’s just from 2 books!
So, yeah. I’ll do my best to keep regularly updating, and you all will do your best to leave the pitchforks and torches at home. It’s a pact, sealed with blood under the waning lights of the eclipse. And before you ask, no, you can’t have the blood back. Or ask where I got it from. Or if it’s even yours. Actually, how about we hold off on any questions related to the blood and the guy who supplies me?
