So, I’m appearing a bit earlier than my usual court mandated appearance to say some good news! The very, very rough draft of book 2 is done! I’ll plan on when I want to announce the title, and I’ll do the same for the cover, which is not only already done, but absolutely awesome.
Although on the flip side, there is still some more time to wait, sadly. As Portal’s editing process is very in-depth, which the book needs, means more time. First, it’ll be going through developmental edits, which there’s multiple passes, and then it’ll have to make it out to the copy editor. On the plus side, some of my favorite parts of book 1 came from the developmental edits, so I can’t emphasize enough about how necessary they are.
But yeah, exciting for sure! I’ll hopefully not be keeping y’all waiting for too long, but this definitely means progress is happening. Unless something wild happens, I’ll be seeing you guys at the end of the month. Thanks for sticking around!
