Hey everyone!
I’ve got three main points to go over today.
The first is that I’ll be going to Dragon-con this year. Not nearly big enough to be in any kind of official capacity, but hey! I’ll still be there. So if you were planning on going and wanted a physical copy signed or a signed souvenir, let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate. Can’t make any promises, but I’ll try my best to at least say hi!
The second is that really no news on Crimson Hydra. Things are kinda at the same limbo as before. Most likely looking to be ending with book three, but it doesn’t have to be a permanent end.
The third thing I have to go over relates to above. One of the ideas I had to get more notice around me and Crimson was to finish a side project I’ve been working on for a little while! So yeah, I finished draft 1 of a book 1 of a new series. It’s a shorter and punchier book, not litRPG, but still under the Progression Fantasy umbrella.
The reasoning wasn’t just to help bring attention to Crimson, it was also just I’ve been working on the same story for coming up to three years or so? I definitely needed a break and to work on something else. And I have to say, I’m seriously happy with the product.
My goal is to finish the second draft in the next week or two and start seeing if any publishers are interested. I’m not fully decided on what I want to do with it as there’s always a slew of options. What will really help determine my path forward is what offers I get on it, if any. No matter what though, new series! And I’m excited to get it out there.
Once I’ve sent out the new one, I’ll be throwing myself back into working on book three of Crimson. So, thanks for sticking with me. Maybe not exactly what y’all were looking for with a new release, but hey, I think it’ll be worth it.
Thanks for being awesome y’all.
